OUR STORY
Modern Meliora began in 2020 during the pandemic as a creative outlet for our passion in art and design. What started as an Etsy shop selling resin products and stickers quickly grew into something more. As we continued to experiment with new mediums and designs, we realized that we had something special on our hands. We wanted to share our love of art and stationery with the world, and so we expanded our shop to include art prints and wearable art accessories. Now, we're excited to take our business to the next level by participating in in-person events and connecting with our community in new and exciting ways. Our goal is to inspire and uplift others through our art and designs, and we can't wait to see where this journey takes us.
THE ARTIST
Modern Meliora is an AAPI woman-owned business led by artist Truc-Quan Nguyen. Truc-Quan is a mixed media artist whose vibrant and natural style brings the beauty of the outdoors to life on paper or whichever material she can paint on. Her use of color and attention to detail captures the essence of nature in each of her paintings. From designing new products to packaging items safely for their new homes, Truc-Quan does it all. Originally raised in the Bay Area of California, Truc-Quan moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2022. She has a tremendous passion for the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and began painting more landscapes ever since moving here. She hopes to inspire others to take a closer look at the beauty that surrounds us and to appreciate the simple things in life through her art.
